One scholarship in the amount of up to $1,000, or two scholarships in the amount of up to $500 each will be awarded. Applicant must be a graduating senior or a high school graduate who is a resident of Yellow Springs/Miami Township. Applicant must be planning a career in or advancing their educational requirements towards a certification or license in a skilled trade (electrical, plumbing, welding, etc.), vocational (social or community service, police, fire, etc.) or technical trade (computer tech, health tech, etc.) requiring training that is up to 2 years of education or professional advancement.
