The YS Schools Facilities Survey 2023, conducted from May 8th to May 15th, 2023, successfully drew participation from a significant portion of the Yellow Springs community. In total, 711 individuals – accounting for slightly over a fifth of the village’s population – completed the survey. This survey served as a conduit for gathering diverse opinions on the pressing issues concerning the YS School Facilities. The survey was disseminated widely to maximize participation (through post cards sent to all villagers, notices posted around town, engagement with community groups to encourage participation, articles about the survey and letters to newspaper, etc.), with a focus on gathering perspectives from a broad cross-section of the community.
