As “the best place to watch a movie together” the Little Art Theatre provides experiences that entertain, inform, and inspire in a welcoming community based theatrical space.
Now entering its 96th year, the Little Art Theatre is one of the most beloved historical landmarks located in downtown Yellow Springs.
The Little Art Theatre is –
- A community arts anchor that enriches downtown Yellow Springs and strengthens local identity
- A gathering place for shared stories and shared humanity, at a time when society often feels fragmented and siloed
- An arthouse theatre where independent local, national and international films foster dialogue, compassion, and interconnection by showing diverse voices and perspectives
- A collaborative community theatre where we partner with local nonprofits, schools, musicians, and of course, filmmakers
The Little Art became a nonprofit organization in 2009, and completed its first major renovation in 2013 that brought the theater into the digital age, but retained its iconic houselights and now boasts a new marquee!
