The mission of Mad River Theater Works is to create and perform inspiring original plays with music that uplift characters from the past, challenging racism, sexism and intolerance. In addition to local and national touring, Mad River conducts hands-on residencies in schools that connect students to the American roots storytelling and music that is the source material for our work.
