The Yellow Springs Exempted Village School District (Yellow Springs Schools) is a public school system that serves approximately 650 students in grades K-12 at Mills Lawn School (K-6), Yellow Springs Middle School (7-8), and High School (9-12).
While Yellow Springs Schools consistently exceed state standards, what matters most is how our students think, create, and care. Our focus goes beyond test scores—we’re dedicated to cultivating curiosity, fostering learning, and nurturing compassion in our Fearless Thinkers for a better tomorrow.
Contributions to the Yellow Springs Public School Fund (YSPSF) are used to provide teachers and students with experiential learning opportunities that are not often possible within the district’s normal operating budget. For example, YSPSF funds are currently being used to support international service learning trips for students and professional learning experiences for teachers.
Yellow Springs Schools has partnered with the Yellow Springs Community Foundation (YSCF) to serve as the fiscal steward of our capital campaign. With their expertise, donors can easily navigate the giving process and select a payment schedule over an 18-month period. All contributions are tax-deductible and will receive official gift receipts.
Donations may be made through direct cash gifts, appreciated stocks, bonds, personal assets, IRA RMDs, or real estate transfers – each offering potential tax benefits. Gifts can also be made in honor or memory of someone, to celebrate milestones, or recognized through naming opportunities (see below) per Board Policy 7250.
All gifts will be publicly acknowledged, with options for anonymity or lead giving.

Yellow Springs Endowment for Education (YSEE)
Established 1996 - Created by parents and teachers to ensure the continuing excellence and diversity of Yellow Springs Public Schools. In 2009 YSEE became the YSEE field of interest fund at YSCF. An Advisory Committee now reviews grants consistent with YSEE’s original mission. DONATE
