The Yellow Springs Exempted Village School District (Yellow Springs Schools) is a public school system that serves approximately 900 students in grades K-12 at Mills Lawn Elementary (K-6), McKinney Middle School (7-8), and Yellow Springs High School (9-12). Yellow Springs Schools are consistently ranked “Excellent” or “Excellent with Distinction” by the State of Ohio Board of Education.
The mission of The Yellow Springs Schools is to create a challenging educational environment where each student contributes to the intellectual and cultural richness of the community and is provided the skills and knowledge to become a socially responsible self-directed, life-long learner.
Contributions to the Yellow Springs Public School Fund (YSPSF) are used to provide teachers and students with experiential learning opportunities that are not often possible within the district’s normal operating budget. For example, YSPSF funds are currently being used to support international service learning trips for students and professional learning experiences for teachers
