Started by school administrators and alumni to honor John Gudgel upon his retirement as Principal of Yellow Springs High School, the purpose of this fund is to provide funds to support scholarships to be awarded each year to a graduating Yellow Springs High School student for tuition to be paid directly to the tax-exempt educational institution they will be attending.
