Feminist Health Fund

The Feminist Health Fund (FHF) is a non-profit group that offers assistance for women for health related expenses during times of financial hardship. The FHF has been helping women living in Greene County, Ohio for more than 30 years. This assistance is offered with the understanding that when a woman receives the support she needs, the support extends to her family, her community and beyond. The FHF remains committed to assisting local women seeking support, especially at this time of heightened uncertainty in the landscape of health care.

Any woman currently living in Greene County, Ohio may apply for assistance with health related expenses. Both biological and gender-identified women are eligible to apply. All applicants must be age 18 or older.

The FHF provides support for costs related to alternative, complementary, and conventional treatments. Past grants have included help with copays, prescriptions, supplements, emergency dental care, eye care, mental health counseling, medical supplies, acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, and treatments for illness such as cancer, Crohn’s Disease, gastritis, fibromyalgia, and hemorrhagic cysts.
