Community Affordability Funds

These funds are focused on Support, Sustainability and Helping Community Members Thrive.

This giving circle was created by the YS School’s Levy Committee to assist with affordability issues in the Village and is open to all participants. It will distribute monthly 25% to the YSEquity DEI Fund and 75% to the Emergency Fund.
In memory and honor of the community minded work of Jack Layh.
"Who's Hungry?" provides food to hungry people through a soup kitchen in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
Created as a general emergency fund for residents of YS / MT; with an initial focus for the eleven community households impacted by the Hawthorne Place Apartment fire. Gifts to this fund will be provided to the Village Community Outreach Office for distribution with a focus on the specific needs by individual. Gifts to this fund are tax deductible and will be available immediately.
The purpose of this fund is to support activities in our community that supply food to those in need. Grant funds will go to organizations who support food relief and to individuals for their emergency food relief.
The purpose of this Fund shall be to support individual residents of Yellow Springs and Miami Township through directed and applied grants and program spending from the distribution for relief assistance.
