YS Food Insecurity Field of Interest Fund

The purpose of this fund is to support activities in our community that supply food to those in need. Grant funds will go to organizations who support food relief and to individuals for their emergency food relief.

YS Emergency Fund

Created as a general emergency fund for residents of YS / MT; with an initial focus for the eleven community households impacted by the Hawthorne Place Apartment fire. Gifts to this fund will be provided to the Village Community Outreach Office for distribution with a focus on the specific needs by individual. Gifts to this fund are tax deductible and will be available immediately.

Who’s Hungry

“Who’s Hungry?” provides food to hungry people through a soup kitchen in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Endowment Fund

This newly established fund grew out of an urgent need as we witnessed individuals’ lives changed and insecurities magnified by the effects of the pandemic. Our collective purpose is to fill the gaps needed to change the course of these community members’ lives.

Bulldog Giving Circle Fund

This giving circle was created by the YS School’s Levy Committee to assist with affordability issues in the Village and is open to all participants. It will distribute monthly 25% to the YSEquity DEI Fund and 75% to the Emergency Fund.
