About Agraria

Agraria — now operating as the Agraria Center for Regenerative Practice — is a local nonprofit based in Yellow Springs focused on bioregional regeneration. We research, teach, and demonstrate regenerative practices that restore soil health and strengthen community resilience across environmental, economic, social, and human-health dimensions. Agraria delivers hands-on education and fellowship programs — including the Regenerative Farmer Fellowship and student Miller Fellow placements in partnership with Antioch College — plus community workshops, events, and demonstration projects.

Historical context / affiliation

The work springs from a long local tradition: Community Solutions (founded in 1940 by Arthur E. Morgan) and the Arthur Morgan Institute for Community Solutions provided the organizational roots for Agraria’s work in Yellow Springs. Today Agraria carries forward that legacy while operating as its own regenerative-practice hub and collaborating with local partners.
