The Yellow Springs Credit Union has launched SHOP LOCAL Cash Back, a first-of-its-kind program for credit and debit card holders. When you make purchases in the 45387 zip code, you’ll earn cash back on every transaction. But here’s what makes this program truly special: YSCU will also contribute 1% of those same sales to support our local nonprofits. How It Works
This innovative collaboration between Yellow Springs Credit Union, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Foundation has been years in the making. Thanks to the recent acquisition by Bridge Credit Union, whose larger financial capacity makes this possible, we can now turn this vision into reality.
The program works by channeling business to our local merchants, then amplifying that impact by directing 1% of sales made in 45387 – by both community members and all Bridge Credit Union customers visiting our town – to the Foundation for distribution among local nonprofits. It’s a win-win-win: you save money, businesses grow, and nonprofits receive vital support.
